Special Projects
Project Homeless Connect – Books for a full-day connection with people in transition. Preferred materials included large print, spiritual guidance and self-help, biographies, cookbooks, dictionaries, mysteries and suspense, science fiction, fantasy, westerns, romance novels and books written in Spanish.
 

Warm Springs Elementary School – Books, a reading table, beanbag chairs and snack. As requested by the teaching staff, books about important Native American figures were featured.

 
Continuing Projects
 Our club continues to provide books and other materials (e.g., food, clothing or personal hygiene items) as requested by the following:
► Affordable housing complexes: Aster Building, Aurora, Heather Glen, Prairie View, Royal, West Town
Bags of Love – handmade quilts and other items for at-risk children
Eugene Mission – temporary housing for persons in transition
Eugene Service Station - day center for homeless adults
First Place Family Center - temporary housing for families
Food for Lane County - food distribution boxes
Leaburg Children’s Library – volunteer library
Pearl Buck Center – preschool for able children of disabled parents   
  Sponsors – women in transition from prison to community
St. Vincent de Paul – children’s outdoor summer program
► Volunteers in Medicine, White Bird - low-income clincs
► Womenspace - women and children seeking safe haven
